I wanted to take pictures of memories and places in Newberg that I'll miss when I leave. These are all taken at Chapters :)

yet another addition to the happy list

I have this list I call "The Happy List." And I think everyone should have one. Its simply a list of things that make me happy. Somethings are deep and poetic and some are simple. The list also comes in handy when other people want to cheer you up, or when you want to cheer yourself up. My list has grown over the years and now i have several mix cd's that are part of the happy list. I thought i should start capturing some of the happy list in photos.

The Body

I take a lot of photos of hands so I wanted to explore taking photos of different parts of the body. This is one of my best friends... her baby is due in June :)

Lost without God

These photos started out as an idea I had for a topic on "misplaced" and then grew into my "series of" theme instead. The more pictures I took the more meaning the shots had to me. Lately I have been feeling like I'm lost on some sort of crazy back road trying to use my outdated map to find God. So that's what these photos mean to me. They aren't nearly as artsy as I usually like my photos to look, but meaningful nonetheless.
